Born into a show business family, Nelsen Adelard got his start as a professional musician at age 15 and played in various rough and tumble joints around the country.
He has opened for and jammed with Muddy Waters, James Cotton and Johnny Winter, just to name a few. "Blues Got A Hold On Me," Nelsen's debut album, reflects his travels and varied musical influences.
Mixed into his own tasty style of West Coast jump is some Delta mud, Texas dust, and cool jazz influences. Nelsen's dynamic vocals, blended with harp and sax and a deep groove rhythm led by bassist John Kuzik, create an explosive musical experience.
