Beth was born and raised in northeast Texas, but now resides in the midwest just south of Kansas City. Also a comedian, she has been performing for corporate events, music shows, private parties, churches, etc. for many years. She and her husband, Dave, often perform together and enjoy writing together. The biggest joy Beth has is knowing Jesus Christ as her Savior----(next to that it's the grandkids!) She also has a unique gospel ministry using the comedy and singing.
This (basically) country cd speaks to the heart and stirs your emotions. --- "Second Greatest Story" was inspired by Beth's mother, but anyone with a loving mother can relate to this song. Beth and Dave are also big blues fans. While sitting on a park bench in Eureka Springs, Ak as he waited on Beth to shop, Dave wrote "Front Porch". -- "Have I Got Blues for You" is a sassy tune that gets right to the point. -- One of Beth's visits to Texas (back home) to see family and friends, inspired "Hwy 49".---"Somewhere Else Tonight" and "You're Breakin' My Heart" make you really feel the pain of a broken heart. There are some great dance tunes on this cd, also. "Leavin' in Your Eyes" is a bluesy, swing tune that Beth had the idea (and a few lines) for, then handed it over to Dave to write. As for songs like "Dance with Me in the Moonlight" and "Manana" well, these songs bring romance back to music. "We take no credit for our music- it is a gift from God." ---Hope you enjoy the cd!
