Angela Barnes is truly a southern belle. She cut her teeth on grits, barbecue, and Elvis. In church Angela learned the hymns and songs that would inspire her life, her music, her ministry, and ultimately her faith.
Music has always been a part of Angela Barnes' life. She still recalls singing her first solo in church at the tender age of three. And later, as a teenager, enjoying the thrill of singing in the choir during worship services, and local ministry luncheons. In fact, it was at one of those luncheons that Angela recognized singing wasn't just a hobby anymore. It was her destiny.
Ministry is in the heart of Angela Barnes. From the time that she was a little girl, she has had a desire to share the love of Jesus with anyone and everyone that would listen. Growing up, it became apparent that singing would be the medium in which she witnessed to the world.
Her music inspires and challenges believers and non-believers alike. It has been a tool to reach people that may never darken the door of a church, but they will hear the sermon in the song.
