This CD began as a simple expression of my thoughts and feelings one night.
I sat in the dark with just one candle lit and let my mood define the music.
A lot of what's on this disk was improvised in a single take or two.
That's not to say that I'm an incredible virtuoso, just that it came from deep within and it stayed pretty much in it's rawest form.
I tend to over-analyze most things that I do and this was just the opposite from the start.
I wasn't going to obsess over little things, I just wanted to make the music for what it was...a release.
I originally had no intention of making a full CD, the music was just made for my own peace of mind.
I later found out that my "release" had touched a lot of other people and helped them find a little bit of peace even if only for a little while.
Obviously I now had to finish the project.
Since then the CD has been used for everything from yoga to massage to an infant's lulluby.
A research facility even inquired about using it for reducing stress in adolescents.
Good thing I decided to finish it! I hope that you enjoy it as much as everyone else has.
