Artist Description:
The music is guitar-driven with strong melodic vocals, sprinkled with electronic elements and yet, very radio friendly. Autumn's Descent has had several independent releases and played club & college scenes all over the Midwest and New England. The band has been featured on over two dozen local, regional, and national music samplers in the last three years, including Milwaukee Metalfest, Position Music, Bacon Soundtrack, Automa Magazine, and many more.
Breaking into the TV / Film/ Video Game industry in 2005, Autumn’s Descent has already had songs placed on MTV shows and in independent movies.
New EP, titled "PRIMER" was released 11/15/05 on Windblown Media / Flaming Fish Records, and is available through CDBaby.com distribution, which puts the disc in the catalogs of most major music retail outlets. “PRIMER†is distributed online through more than 30 digital music service providers, including i-Tunes, AOL Music, Audio Lunchbox, Rhapsody, and many more.
The band has been writing and recording new album, "CHARACTER ASSASSINATION" since mid 2003. The album is being engineered by Shawn Spencer (Breather), and mixed by Grant Mohrman (Celldweller, Filter). It is tentatively scheduled for release in 2007. The band will be touring throughout 2006 & 2007 in support of “PRIMER†and “CHARACTER ASSASSINATION.â€
