Quirky, vibrant, moody, and generally regarded as unconventional, the duo known as Berkhouse/Snyder deserves their recognition for not trying to fit any commercial mold. Criticized as not having a specific identity or sound, this unique force dares to dream without restraint. Berkhouse/Snyder music ranges from dance, electronic, techno, retro-pop, euro-pop and even industrial. Their intent is to be open and honest when creating music and never count out any idea. "Try or try not, there is no do." Berkhouse/Snyder has found some exposure through record pools and clubs over the past five years and have evolved into an avant-garde of eccentric dance music stylings. Never focusing too long on one genre of dance music, they play the gambit with a strange sense of urgency reflected in their songs. The music can be dark and moody or bright and danceable. This could also describe their vocal and lyric style. Following a melody like a keyboardist with carpal tunnel syndrome, the songs evoke a sense of purpose and meaning. Lyrically, they say things without saying things, and paint pictures of the world both mundane and relevant. Always listen twice and think just as hard when dancing to a Berkhouse/Snyder song.

Premier DJ and Remix artist, Strobe is preparing to pump out his "Where Do We Go" track featuring vocals by Berkhouse/Snyder!
Strobe in his "spare time" is also finishing some wild mixes of the Berkhouse/Snyder track "Don't Ask Why" as well as other tracks in line for the hot hot hot summer of 2006.

Katie will be working in the studio with Berkhouse/Snyder on a remake of an 80's Berlin song as well as fresh new material. She is also scheduled to lend her voice to a Strobe remix of Berkhouse/Snyder's "don't ask why" track.
