The Most Talented
Biography

The Most Talented , lawfully known as Khalid-El:Bey, began rhyming, producing and performing at the age of eleven (11). Together, with his younger brother Rain King (Erick Godley, lawfully), Most learned early what it meant to struggle and work hard for anything that he wanted to achieve.

Being from Syracuse, New York (where he was born and raised) made it very difficult for Most and his brother to find musical outlets; real entertainment was not, and in many ways, still isn't something that the Syracuse area is or was accustomed to. Nonetheless, these two entertainers, with continual zest, desire and determination, found a way to keep the fire burning.

Most's first professional performance dates back to 1989 when the duo was the opening act for Gang Starr, a concert sponsored by Syracuse University. Since then, The Most Talented (along with Rain King) has performed all over the east coast. From Bridgeport, Connecticut to Miami Beach, Florida, Most has opened up for nationally known artist such as Redman, Method Man, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Biz Markie, Secial Ed, D-Nice, Dougie Fresh, ODB of Wu-Tang and a host of others. Most has also performed as a special guest opener for Ja-Rule and has been a co-headlining act with artist such as Kid Capri, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Lost Boyz, The Roots, Cocoa Brovaz, Jeru the Damaga, Tank, Floetry and Angie Martinez.

On August 16, 2000, The Most Talented was a headliner on opening night at the First Annual Billboard Magazine and BET Hip Hop and R&B Conference held at the New York Hilton Hotel (Manhattan).

In March of 1999, The Most Talented was sign to Relativity Records as a member of a hip hop group that the label organized called the "Daily Newz". After recording an 18-track album, the entire Relativity staff was terminated and was replaced by Loud records. This event caused the Daily Newz to get lost in the shuffle of numerous popular acts, receiving a message in October of 1999, that their January 2000 album release date (now on Loud records) was push back to the fall of 2001.

In November of 1999, Most sign a single deal with an independent Manhattan-based label called One Source Entertainment. Here he release his first single "The Magi", which was distributed both nationally and internationally, entering the European market.

Presently, The Most Talented is still working hard towards his goals, now managing his own record label, Whatever You Want Music Group (located in Syracuse). In June of 2001, Whatever You Want released its first independent project (an EP by Most's brother Rain King). On February 7, 2002, the label released its second project independently, which was a compilation album featuring several artist who were signed to the label. Now, in 2003, Most is preparing to release his own debut album titled "ONLY SOLUTION", which is guaranteed to be a favorite. "Persistence and determination guarantees success", which is what Most always says; his name will be a name to remember in the years to come.
