Start from scratch, ideas crossfade, mix in beats and a masterpiece made. Hip Hop's the backdrop, a DJ is the backup, and Vanguard is on the frontline. Creating a process of progress with his music, hittin' wit head nod shit. Original beats with innovative styles and concepts, underground but street, Vanguard reaches each and every level. With a serious sarcasm, a perfect balance of intelligence and ignorance, the views are truly one of a kind. If you never heard Vanguard in a cipher, you are out of the loop, and should ask around.

Straight outta Jersey Vanguard's been puttin it down for 10 years, along the way pickin up every album that dropped. Introduced to Hip Hop young, this growing culture has helped mold and raise Vanguard. Before begining to rhyme he had been a student of the game for some time. Many years of writing and battling earned him respect as an m.c. A good foundation was now laid, and true skill began to surface. After building' with an up and coming producer making music became a daily operation. Vanguard took the next step by recording original material for an album, Sliced Bread. Sliced Bread was an idea that came from everyone's over expectation. After hearing,"it's gotta be the best thing since this" or " it better be better than that", the name just came. Vanguard isn't claiming to be the best ever, this is just the beginning.

The story continues with a completed album and a focused agenda. Look out for Vanguard performing at each and every venue in the Tri-state hiphop scene. Soon to be bumpin' out a speaker near you, listen up!
