Holy Rollaz is a gospel rap group who believes in lifting up the name of Jesus through music and song. The vision is to tell everyone about Jesus and all his riches that he has in store for those who will willingly serve him. The music being produce represents the holiness of life and how you can live holy in this life here on earth. It is a true example of what they believe, living strictly by the word of God. Holy Rollaz is more than just a group; it's a lifestyle that you live every day being lead and instructed by Jesus through his word and his holy spirit. Standing holy, standing righteous, standing for the name of Jesus.
Mayhew R.W. Cuthbertson is a very multi-talented musician, producer, & songwriter. He has been blessed by Jesus with many talents. Producing music since 13 years of age, he knew that he was destined for greatness. Music has always been a major part of his life, whether he was singing with a group, or playing for the church choir. He's worked with major Hip-Hop and R&B artists throughout the music industry.
Mayhew attended South Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in music marketing and management and minored in technical audio engineering. He is the owner of Hew Mu Entertainment, an independent gospel recording label, and executive producer of Holy Rollaz's "Show Yall". He is a member and musician of Locust Hill Apostolic Church. Mayhew is the father of two blessed children and husband to his beautiful wife, who is vice president of Hew Mu Entertainment. As a family, united as one, they have taken a stand for Jesus.
Richard Macon is a gospel rapper and songwriter featured on the Holy Rollaz project "Show Yall". At an early age, he witnessed the voice of God. Richard has experience both sides as a rapper. Graduating from Livingstone College, he received his BA degree in history/liberal arts. He began his experience first with the youth as a teacher and since then he has been inspired to lead children to Christ. Richard is the pastor of Faith that Works Christian Church. He is also founder of Cross Road Youth Services and Macon Ministries. He is married to his beautiful wife and father to one child.
Holy Rollaz will stand in name of Jesus who is Lord and Savior enduring the battle; Standing Holy, Standing Righteous, and Standing Strong in what they believe. Under the guidance and instruction of Jesus, Holy Rollaz shall achieve great things and will change the way Gospel music is heard forever.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT/STATEMENT OF FAITH
"These things most surely believed among us (Luke1: 1) are these." We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God (Matthew16: 16). We believe that Jesus is God (St. John 1:1-14). He was born, lived, and died for our sins (Matt 1:23,
John 9:4&5, and John 10:17&18). We believe that salvation is in the name of Jesus Christ only (Acts 4:12). During Jesus Christ earthly ministry he laid the foundation for the church. He called twelve (12) men and named them Apostles. When he ascended to heaven he put the work of his ministry in the hands of the Apostles
(Acts 1:2&3). We believe that we are a continuation of that ministry. Through an obedience of the doctrine of the Apostles (Acts 2:42) we are members of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e.) The Church. We believe as Christians, having repented our sins, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins. And once filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2: 38), we live as Christians a life of love. Through this love, we serve our Lord Jesus, and our fellow man. We believe all scriptures is given by the inspiration of God (II Timothy 3:16). The word must be rightly divided (II Tim 2: 15). We believe in both the Old and the New Testament. In the Old Testament we find the origin and history of Nations of all Nations. The most important one to us is Israel, for it is through Israel that the Messiah comes to save the world. Salvation is of the Jews (John 4: 22). The Messiah, through his birth, life, death, burial and resurrection also brought forth the church (Isaiah 9: 6&7), Luke 2:52, I Corinthians 15: 3&4). Being members of his body and spirit, we continue the work of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ until he comes back.
