A native of the Washington DC area, Aaron Broadus is a rising talent in the music industry. He is an accomplished musician, live performer and entertainer with the ability to compose, arrange and produce. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Music from George Mason University, and a Master of Music from Howard University. He is a professor of Music and band director at Georgetown University. Aaron is an incredible performer who is comfortable on the classical, jazz, Hip-Hop, and R&B stage. Aaron has performed at the Kennedy Center for musicals such as Steven Sondheim's Company" and "Merrily We Roll Along", and has performed with artists Thelonious Monk Jr., The Temptations, The Four Tops, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and UK sensation,
Omar to name a few. He is also an accomplished composer and arranger who has recorded with, and written for the Howard University Jazz Ensemble's 2003 CD dedicated to the victims of September 11, 2001. Aaron's new EP "Feels Like The First Time" is a combination of R&B and smooth jazz that features his talents as a trumpeter, vocalist and writer.
