Aloisio Aguiar and his childhood friend Claudio Roditi were schoolmates in Ipanema, Brazil. The picture on the cover of this CD shows Claudio and Aloisio playing together in the High Scool band in Brazil.
This CD, recorded in New York City brings them together again.They are joined by Portinho on drums and Nilson Matta on bass.They have teamed up after many years to bring you one of the finest examples of Brazilian Jazz on the market today.
