Chris Glik is a Composer/Pianist/Arranger residing in Southern California. Glik's first cd, Tropical Jazz For The Soul, has been re-issued on cdbaby and features the Chris Glik Band performing his own Brazilian/Latin inspired Jazz compositions. This, his 2nd release, presents Chris Glik on the Piano and Keyboard, performing more of his original compositions along with two of his favorite standards.
The two standards, "Blame It On My Youth" and "My One And Only Love" are love songs which speak to the emotions. These are songs Glik plays regularly, whether performing alone or as part of an ensemble. Debbie's Dance, Dark Star, Rtd Blues, Then What, Manila Bay, Chris's Reggae, You Are, Tudo Bem and C Bop were composed by the pianist. All the music on the cd will help you relax and make you feel good no matter how challenging your day.
