Nelson Gill, multiple award winning performing artist and educator, was born in Belize, Central America. He lived there and in Guatemala for the first 18 years of his life, where he learned to speak English, Spanish and Creole fluently. His roots in Caribbean music and culture are evident throughout his composition. Nelson Gill holds an A.A. degree in Music, B.A. in Spanish Literature and M.ED. in Early Childhood Education.
