Beestspawn is more of a concept than an individual bringing musical ideas to life through the power of melodic metal... Barry "Beesty" Shelton has made enough music over the years with bands to make more than a couple of box sets, however "Beestspawn: Nature of the Beest" is his first 'solo' effort, melding previous fan favorites from live shows and newer ideas into proper recordings with the assist of longtime friend and music associate, Will Gunnell of Ratatat Sounds Recording Studio. (Artwork & packaging/duplication courtesy of the fine works of www.kmsmedia.net - check em out!) The disc is full of surprises from the barebones artwork and layout to the raw, yet somewhat polished content... Good driving music from the dark side of the heart, fueling positive vibes by channeling it from the core to the surface in true melodic metal ritualistic fashion.
