Rhythm Drive Records releases a great contribution to the dance music community - ALVENDIA - a mesmerizing female vocalist.
Growing up in San Jose California, Alvendia's musically inclined family fostered her love of singing at an early age. As she leapt into adolscence, she found her love for dance music blossom. Through chance and coincidence, she recorded her first track entitled "Always on my Mind" with music producer Slammin' Sam. This catapulted her career into the dance music community and allowed her to garner fans worldwide.
Soon after, Alvendia signed to Rhythm Drive Records, a label owned by music entrepreneur Reno Ursal, formerly of Classified Records. Plans for an album soon became the focus and after many late nights recording in the studio, Alvendia is ready to take off in 2004 with the March 30 release of her album.
Alvendia's uptempo dance songs deliver scintillating lyrics about falling in love, coping with grief, and letting go. These beautiful lyrics have been wrapped with hypnotizing uptempo dance beats by some of today's most talented music producers.
Alvendia worked with over 7 producers and songwriters on this album including Glenn Gutierrez (of Planethype), Joe Grandberg of Hyperspace Productions, Lenny "Linus" Douglas, Epicenter Productions, Andrey Silva (formerly of Kai), the Klubjumpers and DJ Midimack. In addition to her dance tracks, her acoustic songs "Close To Me" and "All My Life" illustrates Alvendia's versatility as a ballad vocalist.
