On an average day, the average person walks 3 to 4 miles. We chose the name 3 MILE ROAD to signify our daily walk with Christ. We seek to honor Christ with our music but more importantly with our daily living. 3 MILE ROAD is comprised of veteran CCM Engineer/Producer Bret Teegarden (dcTalk, 4 Him, Carman, Michael W. Smith, Twila Paris), Travis Garner (Adam's Apple), Josh Vegors (Jacob's Road), Casey Webber (Adam's Apple) and Paul Bonner. 3 MILE ROAD has been activly leading youth and adults in worship since early 2004 and are proud to release their debut recording - "DAILY COMMUTE" - on TeeTone Music. DAILY COMMUTE contains a selection of favorite worship songs as well as five (5) original compositions that have become favorites of many of our listeners.
Our sound is a happy blend of modern acoustic praise & worship, classic rock and 80's pop. Influences such as Dave Matthew Band, Hillsong United, Jack Johnson, Journey, BTO, Chris Tomlin, Counting Crows, and Casting Crowns all mess together to form the 3 MILE ROAD sound.
