Aaron McLain
Composer, lyricist, singer, guitarist, all accurate descriptives that describe this very gifted and galvanizing performer: Aaron McLain. Undoubtedly, music has been his birthright, picking up a guitar at the very early age of 10. To hone his skills, Aaron attended the renowned Dick Grove School of Music. His guitar playing quickly gained the recognition of many of the music industry's top recording artists on both the studio session and touring ends. In the studios, he has played for the likes of Grammy winners Dr. Dre, Terence Trent D'Arby and Patti LaBelle and he has hit the road, to accompany among others, jazz master Ronnie Laws, R&B diva Oleta Adams, and more recently the inimitable Marc Anthony. It is with the latter that Aaron gained a very loyal following of fans. Marc's cyberspace community has grown to admire Aaron so much that they created a website, www.aaronmclainfans.com, where they can chat, obtain information, and view exclusive content on him.
Part of Aaron's uniqueness, is his ability to be a self-contained musician. A first-class singer/songwriter, he primarily plays all of the instruments on his recorded performances, from guitar and bass, to keyboard, drum programming and engineering chores. His list of influences range from Stevie Wonder and David Bowie, to Jimi Hendrix and Sting.
Aaron has written, produced and recorded a number of songs on an independent level. His first effort, titled Valuable Angel, is still one of his most sought-after releases-while his current self-titled CD, has started to generate interest not only with his closely-knit fan base, but also within the music industry community in both the U.S. and foreign markets.
In the meantime, Aaron continues to broaden his audience via the Internet and through showcases, before packed houses in Los Angeles and New York, at venues such as The Hard Rock, The Mint, The Gig, Le Bar Bat and The Bitter End. His distinct rock/pop sounds are melodious, vibrant, introspective and yet very sexy.
"I think the music allows me to be free," says Aaron. "It gives me chance to unleash my spirit and project those good feelings on to others. With that-my goal is to go around the world, play and sing and let the world hear my stuff. Just basically do the Aaron McLain thing."
Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to witness the industry's next superstar, Aaron McLain.
