"If I had to describe myself through bands I say I'm a cross between the distance and country roots heard in My Morning Jacket and the earnest searching found in Ryan Adams albums"
Aaron Meyer is a musician, writer, educator, and active observer of the life that surrounds and unites us. He currently resides in Bloomington, Indiana and is attending graduate school for counseling psychology. In his free time he works on being published as a journalist and has his sites set on becoming a pop culture guru. He has spent time traveling, living, and working all over the world. This summer will find him back on the campus of UCSC working for Johns Hopkins University. Before going back to graduate school he spent time living in Germany where he taught for the Department of Defense Schools. Through all of this Meyer has considered the Midwest his home base and believes that bringing outside influence and interests into the sometimes sheltered Midwest landscape will be beneficial for all.

Song description
1. Life Staggers - This song relates how life really goes. Not every day is peaches and cream but we all have things that we live for and base our lives around. These things are seen and unseen and they make life worth living.
2. Everything - This is probably the most autobiographical song, about a former female love interest. It really speaks to a longing and fantasy that we all have about reaching out to those we've lost through percieved poor decision or indecision.
3. Lately Troubled - I wrote this about a friend who was looking to find a home for her heart and about all of our searches for truth.
4. Room 16 - I saw the Van Gough exhibit in Chicago a few years back and his "Starry Night" was placed in room 16 of the exhibit. I really love this painting as many people do. This song is about the night before I left for college biggest meteor shower I've ever seen. It was for my friends and I a starry night. I'm sure we've all had a similar experience.
5. Green Blue July - This song is about moving on and growing up in a world that doesn't necessarily want you to make a difference. Resilience and dedication to becoming is a difficult task in our fragmented society.
