" My Daddy Told Me " is a Country Western Anthem about passing values from father to son. It has a Cowboy Melody that you can 't get out of your head.
"Broken Dream" , Mark's favorite song is a beautiful lament that stands out in sharp contrast to the threads of humor present in most of 101' s songs.
"Arlington ", the band's most important song is a Rock Anthem about the loss of the American Dream. Robert Ellis' piano has helped bring out the majesty of the song and the raw emotion in what Mark tells us.
"Hwy 101" was inspired by friend Rickie Lee Jones and "Romantic Fool" was inspired by Grace Slick.
