3-Day Monks began their performing and recording career in 1997, bringing their unique blend of spy-rock, rockabilly, psycho-blues, cow-punk and surf to the L.A. club scene.
Now, with their second release, "Cajun Pepper", they have expanded their eclectic, yet All-American sound to include gospel, cajun, country, Delta blues, jazz and even some flat-out hard rock.
This sprawling, 25-track epic is a musical journey through the heart of the American Delta, with the uniquely dark lyrics of singer/songwriter Lear Black, delivered in his rich, booming baritone voice, as a guide.
