"Is this for Real", the debut album from 2nd Best, the midwest's fastest growing punk rock band, exemplifies the goings-on in the head of at-time singer/song-writer Brad Johnson and his band, bassist Paul Friemel and drummer TJ Mapes.
Although Johnson no longer is part of the group, this debut is a snapshot in time that catches the innosence and early struggles and successes of the band prior to it's current position in the Iowa music scene.
The group now consists of Mapes, Friemel, and guitar player/singer Shane Sikkema. The band has returned to trio status and is more eager to excite than ever before!
