Heavily influenced by Green Day, Screeching Weasel, and various other "Ramones-style" pop/punk bands, Jeff Nurenberg started writing acoustic songs halfway through the career of his old punk band, Assembly Required. When the band broke up, he decided to pursue a solo career full time. These are his songs.

Filled primarily with pessimistic themes, a beam of light appears every now and then. When writing this album, Jeff tried to really dive into the word "regret". He was going through his own hardships at the time, and wanted an output. As it turns out, regret (the one emotion he wanted so badly to never experience) became the overwhelming force of this album.

Deep thinking lyrics and music straight from his heart, this is the Stars album.
