Tired of listening to bands sing about how their girlfriends broke their hearts and they just can't get over it? A Wish for Alliance brings a new sound and point of view to a genre that is beginning to become much too predictable.
A Wish for Alliance brings in a wide range of influences to create a new sound that is definitely worth a listen. Old school rock and punk sounds are evident in the guitars of Michael Madole and Dustin Hill. The music is screaming of a more hardcore sound through bass player and vocalist, Cass Adcox. The advanced time signatures display a large indie/emo influence from drummer, Brenden Freedman. All of this is tied together by the most unique aspect of the band, the extremely powerful vocals of lead singer, Jay Schmidt. In a genre that is overrun with high-pitched, nasal singers; Jay refuses to be cast into the same category. So, try out something new and check out: A Wish for Alliance.
