Singer/Songwriter Adam Dynes is as talented as they come. His catchy lyrics and unique sound are sure to take the music world by storm.

As a senior at Brigham Young University, Adam Dynes interned in Washington D.C. with a group of fellow students. Dynes’ decision to go to Washington proved to be the best move he could have made: it was there that he met two friends who would become the proprietors of PolarStar Records. During his four month stay he entertained the group with his witty and soulful songs about life.

Like any great songwriter, Dynes takes much of his materiel from real life. Songs like What's Your Name? and The Jerk Song are so funny because they are so true. Anyone who has ever braved the perils of the dating world will relate personally to the satirical wit in Dynes’ music.

Dynes' debut album is featured in an upcoming feature film called "The Jerk Theory."

“When we decided to pursue this project the first person we thought of was Dynes,” states Brandon Petersen, a managing partner of POLAR STAR Pictures. “His songs have become the major focal point of our current movie.”

Lighthearted songs that poke fun at life and growing up are complimented masterfully by moving ballads on the album. Deep meaningful lyrics and rich piano tracks tug at the heartstrings in songs like God Made You Beautiful and Say Goodnight. The album, much like the movie in which the music is featured, tells a story about life and love that is sure to capture audiences.

“We wanted to create the best sound possible,” says Abraham Taylor, the Album’s Executive Producer, “so we brought in Producer Luke George from LA. He came highly recommended and we liked his previous work. He’s a very talented musician himself and has the ability to create the rock sound that we are after.”

Luke George, of the band De La Vega, brought with him another key asset to the album – Sound Designer Ken Dudley. “Together, Dynes, Luke and Dudley make a powerful team. They all compliment each other extremely well,” says Abraham Taylor.

After entertaining friends and family for most of his life, Dynes will soon have the opportunity to share his talent with a much wider audience.
