Calvin Reed Davis, at the age of ten, started his story telling career with his enrollment in the Ruth Sawyer, New York City Library System, “Story Telling Program.†To augment his successful career as a story teller, Calvin has graduated from the Dominican
College, San Rafael CA. Story Telling Program. Calvin's career has spanned over a half a century of story telling. Calvin has also appeared at many festivals, over the years, in the Italy, Great Britain, Canada, and United States. Calvin has been a teller on National Public Radio show, Story Time.
One set of stories that have been favorites of his audiences is, "My Sicilian Uncle." These stories have been requested over and over by listeners including other professional story tellers.
