Author of three books on teaching: Plain Teaching, 1991, Last of the Old School Educators, 2001, and the Fifth Front: A Blueprint for supporting America's Teachers in the War Against Terror.
Founder and President of SALT (Salt And Light Teachers), a weekly support workshop for Christians who teach in public schools.
Carl now travels the country working as "The Advice Teacher," helping teachers to understand, and work with "hard to reach" students.
